Full Depth Recycling is one of the fastest growing
rehabilitation techniques being specified by pavement engineers
today. FDR reuses existing base and surface materials for
a lower cost and high returns, while increasing the speed
of construction. FDR increases the strength of the pavement
structure and reduces reflective cracking.
Mechanical Stabilization
- Pulverization
- Addition of new base materials
Chemical Stabilization
Bituminous Stabilization
- Foamed Asphalt
- Asphalt Emulsions
Dunn Company embraces this state-of-the-art
technology, and with our innovative equipment and vast range
of stabilization additives, we can use FDR to depths up to
12". The pulverized layers and additive(s) become a homogeneous
well graded material with improved structural characteristics.
The new stabilized base course is suitable for surfacing with
Hot Mix Asphalt, bituminous chip seal or micro surfacing depending
on the traffic requirements.
