This is a video showing the CR-3800 by Wirtgen. The recycler is pushing an asphalt emulsion trailer. The recycler is milling and sizing the pavement while mixing in asphalt emulsion and water. There is a screed attached to the recycling machine that relays the mix. Following the recycler and paving screed is the compaction equipment. Once the pavement has been compacted, moving traffic can return to the pavement. The cost on this job was roughly $26/ton when hotmix was selling around $75/ton.
